Product Description

In Japan the outer robes worn by Buddhist priests, draped under one arm and fastened at the opposite shoulder, are called kesa. The pattern on this one-of-a-kind gift wrap is drawn from a nineteenth-century kesa pieced together from fragments of older karaori robes used in performances of traditional Noh dramas.
